Tragic Accident Claims Life of 18-Year-Old in Huntington Beach
An 18-year-old resident of Huntington Beach tragically lost his life on Thursday morning in a devastating traffic collision on Talbert Avenue, just west of Bell Circle. The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m., sending shockwaves through the tight-knit community.

According to the Huntington Beach police, the collision involved a maroon 2016 Kia Sorento and a bicyclist. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the bicyclist lying in the roadway and quickly transported him to a local hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the young man, identified as David Mario Garcia Olmos by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Kia, a 26-year-old man from Fullerton, remained at the scene and cooperated fully with authorities.
