Upon arrival, brave firefighters found themselves faced with a single-family home engulfed in flames. Despite their heroic efforts, one male occupant, identified as Chen Fa Lu, aged 72, was tragically unable to escape the blaze and succumbed to his injuries over the weekend.

It was a heart-wrenching scene as around 48 firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the fire under control in less than 30 minutes, battling the intense heat and smoke to rescue the trapped victim.

Two other occupants, an adult male and an adult female, were also caught up in the chaos. While the female managed to escape with non-life-threatening injuries, the male was critically injured and later lost his life.
