Blue Heron Blvd. The peaceful atmosphere was shattered by the sound of gunfire, and 43-year-old Calbert Dawson lost his life in a senseless act of violence.

What started as a simple fight quickly escalated into a fatal shooting. Police received a distressing call about a confrontation, but by the time they arrived, it was too late. Lavon Heath, who celebrated his 33rd birthday on the day of his arrest, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. Heath now faces serious charges, including first-degree murder with a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
