On Wednesday, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch made a chilling discovery when they found the lifeless body of a woman doctor, Vaishali Joshi, on a bench. The police suspect that the doctor may have taken her own life, as syringes were found near her body.
Identifying the Deceased
Vaishali Joshi, a PG resident working at a private hospital in Ahmedabad, was the unfortunate victim in this tragic incident. Her body was found outside the Economic Offences Prevention Wing office at the Crime Branch.
Revealing a Troubling Relationship
Further investigation uncovered a 15-page note in Vaishali Joshi’s bag, where she detailed her frustration and intention to end her life. The note revealed a tumultuous relationship with VK Khachar, a police inspector at the Crime Branch, which had been deteriorating over the past few months.
Insight from the Investigating Officer
According to ACP Hirendra Chaudhary, the doctor and the inspector had been in a relationship for four to five years. However, recent conflicts had left Vaishali Joshi feeling depressed and hopeless, ultimately leading to this tragic outcome.
Legal Action and Autopsy
The Gaikwad Haveli Police have initiated a case of accidental death in connection with Vaishali Joshi’s passing. Her body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
