PHILADELPHIA SEPTA Shooting Leaves Innocent Bystander Injured in Robbery Gone Wrong

PHILADELPHIA – An innocent bystander found themselves caught in the crossfire of a SEPTA shooting that unfolded as a result of a robbery carried out by two suspects.

Trevon Gordon, aged 21, and Marquan Best, aged 23, have been apprehended for their involvement in the harrowing incident that took place in the heart of Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on a SEPTA train last month, where a man was targeted and robbed following an altercation with the suspects.

Instead of backing down, the victim decided to fight back and fired his weapon at the suspects, inadvertently hitting a 22-year-old bystander in the process.

The injured bystander was discovered with gunshot wounds to his shoulder and side at a subway station located at Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue.

Although the robbery victim was initially taken into custody at the scene, he was later released without facing any charges.

Subsequent investigations led to the identification of Gordon and Best as the culprits behind the robbery, resulting in their arrest and subsequent charges of aggravated assault, robbery, and other related offenses.

Local authorities are working tirelessly to ensure that justice is served in this unfortunate incident that has left the community shaken.

As the city of Philadelphia grapples with the aftermath of this senseless act of violence, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safety and vigilance in public spaces.
