The Pueblo County Coroner Identifies Victim of Fatal Hit-and-Run on Interstate 25

The Pueblo County coroner has identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run on Interstate 25 Monday morning as Ruben Sena, a 57-year-old resident of Pueblo. Sena tragically lost his life due to injuries sustained when the moped he was riding was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene of the crash.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:18 a.m. on Monday morning, with police responding to I-25 southbound near mile marker 96 following reports of a motorcycle and a person in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers discovered Sena and his moped on the road, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have announced that they are searching for a 2014-2018 Jeep Cherokee that was involved in the collision with Sena. The vehicle is believed to have sustained damage in the crash, although the color has not yet been determined. A stock photo released by the police depicts the type of vehicle they are looking for.

The coroner confirmed that the victim of this second incident was a 14-year-old girl, but her name has not been released due to her status as a juvenile.
