A devastating plane crash took the lives of a King Township family in Nashville, Tennessee. The Dotsenko family, consisting of Rimma Dotsenko, her husband Victor, and their three children, were residents of the community in Ontario, Canada. The tragic incident has left the tight-knit community of King Township in mourning.

King Township Mayor Steve Pellegrini expressed his deepest condolences to the families and friends of the Dotsenko family. He stated, “This is a heartbreaking and devastating loss for our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of the victims during this incredibly difficult time as we await further updates from the ongoing investigation.”

The plane crash occurred when a single-engine aircraft crashed alongside a highway west of downtown Nashville. All five passengers on board, including three children, lost their lives in the tragic accident.

The aircraft was based at the Brampton Flight Centre in Canada and owned by the Brampton Flying Club. The plane’s registration was under a numbered company located in Vaughan, Ontario. U.S. National Transportation Safety Board investigator Aaron McCarter revealed that the flight originated in Ontario.

In a distressing recording of radio transmissions, the pilot informed air traffic controllers that the engine had shut down, and he was attempting to land after overflying John C. Tune airport. Despite efforts to clear a runway for landing, the pilot realized it was too late to reach the airport safely.

Global Affairs Canada confirmed the deaths of five Canadians in Tennessee but refrained from disclosing further details out of respect for privacy. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has assigned a representative to assist in the U.S.-led investigation.
