Chatham-Kent Police Investigate Homicide in Erie Beach

Chatham-Kent police have announced that a suspicious death investigation in Erie Beach has now turned into a homicide case. The victim, identified as Michael Allard, a 40-year-old from Windsor, was found at a residence on Towanda Boulevard in Erie Beach in what appears to be a targeted attack.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at 12:42 a.m. when officers responded to a call regarding a person in need of emergency services. It was reported that the individual had suffered a gunshot wound while at the residence in Erie Beach. The police have assured the public that this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the community’s safety.

The Chatham Kent Police Service is urging anyone with information or surveillance video footage related to the ongoing investigation to come forward.
