A man has been convicted in connection with a shooting that took place on I-81 in Roanoke County, Virginia. The incident occurred on September 11, 2022, when the driver of a vehicle was shot by an individual riding a green Harley Davidson motorcycle near mile marker 137.

According to police reports, the shooter fled the scene and left the state of Virginia following the shooting. However, investigators were able to identify Tyler Keith Jones as a suspect in the case and he was later arrested.

Court Verdict

After a court hearing, the Roanoke County Circuit Court announced that Jones had been found guilty in connection with the shooting. He faces charges of Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, and Attempted Malicious Wounding.
