Police Response
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Naylor dead inside one of the units at the Garden Apartments. Another victim was discovered outside, while a third individual had driven themselves to the hospital for treatment.
A juvenile from Independence was taken into custody after suffering a finger injury during the incident. Authorities have not yet disclosed what led to the violence that claimed Naylor’s life.
