Toronto police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Rexdale earlier this week as 25-year-old Jasmit Badesha, a resident of Mission, British Columbia. The tragic incident took place near the parking lot of an apartment building located near Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard, west of Islington Avenue.
Life-saving measures were attempted, but unfortunately, Badesha was pronounced dead at the scene, marking him as the city’s 12th homicide victim of the year.
Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding potential suspects or a motive for the shooting at this time.
