In a tragic turn of events, the victim of a fatal shooting in Toronto’s Rexdale community over the weekend has been identified as a man from British Columbia, according to police reports.

On Sunday, March 3, Toronto police responded to a call at an apartment building near Rexdale Boulevard and Bergamot Avenue at approximately 11:37 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 20s with gunshot wounds in the parking lot outside the building.

Despite efforts by paramedics to save him, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was not transported to a hospital, authorities confirmed.
