Tragic Shooting Incident in Etobicoke Apartment Complex
Last weekend, a tragic incident unfolded outside a low-rise apartment building on Bergamot Avenue in Etobicoke, Toronto. The victim of the fatal shooting has been identified as 25-year-old Jasmit Badesha from Mission, British Columbia.

Emergency crews responded to a distress call around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at the apartment complex located near Rexdale Boulevard and Islington Avenue. Paramedics arrived at the scene and assessed a patient in the parking lot. Sadly, despite their efforts, the young man in his 20s was pronounced dead on site.

Some residents in the area shared their accounts with CityNews, mentioning that they heard gunshots and witnessed a male victim lying on the ground. Eyewitnesses reported seeing an individual fleeing to a waiting vehicle that quickly drove away from the scene.
