Man Arrested After Body Parts Found in Bronx Apartment

Sheldon Johnson, a 48-year-old man, has been taken into custody by the police after a gruesome discovery in a Bronx apartment. The incident took place at 979 Summit Avenue in the Highbridge section, where authorities were called for a wellness check on an occupant in Apartment 6G at around 8:25 p.m.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officials found a torso and arms inside the apartment. Further investigation led to the discovery of the victim’s legs, arms, and head in a freezer. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Collins Small, had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Johnson now faces charges of murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with this heinous crime. It was revealed that Johnson had previously served approximately 25 years behind bars for attempted murder and other offenses.

Recent Developments on Long Island

In a separate incident on Long Island, an investigation is underway after body parts belonging to a man and a woman were found. Currently, four individuals are in police custody in connection with this case.

As the authorities continue their investigations in both cases, the communities in the Bronx and Long Island are left in shock at the horrifying nature of these crimes.
