In a tragic incident, a Special Task Force (STF) personnel of Haryana Police was found murdered in his Maruti Swift car with a bullet wound to his head near a canal at Burawas village in Jhajjar district. The victim, Satbir, aged 47 and a resident of Jhajjar, had served in the Indian Army before joining the Haryana Police.
Two bullets were discovered to have pierced the windshield of the car, and a bullet mark was also found on the roof of the vehicle. Satbir was posted in the STF unit at Rohtak. Following a complaint from the deceased’s family, a murder case has been registered at the Salhawas police station. The family suspects that Satbir may have been targeted by criminals due to the nature of his job.
