Arrest Made in Scottsville, Kentucky

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – In a recent incident in Scottsville, Kentucky, Allen County deputies arrested a man on multiple charges.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office reported that they apprehended a male subject identified as Randy Williams, 35, around 8 a.m. Williams was wanted on a warrant and was found standing in the doorway of a vehicle near Cambridge Apartments on East Poplar Street.

Upon placing Williams in handcuffs, deputies discovered a clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine in his possession, as well as a handgun in the vehicle.

Charges and Detainment

Williams is now facing charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine), and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Additionally, he is also charged on the indictment warrant for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and persistent felony offender.

Following the arrest, Williams was taken to the Allen County Detention Center for further legal proceedings.
