Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a tragic incident, three members of a marriage party lost their lives while four others sustained critical injuries in a collision between an SUV and a speeding container-truck in Shahjahanpur district. The accident occurred during the early hours of Tuesday, leaving the families of the deceased in shock and mourning.
The deceased were identified as Ramdin (72), Rajneesh (25), and Neta (40), while the injured individuals were identified as Ravit Kumar (24), Prempal (45), Sheel Chandra (45), and Ramesh (40). The injured were rushed to the district hospital for treatment, with Prempal and Sheel Chandra later being referred to a higher medical center in Farrukhabad district due to the severity of their injuries.
Additional superintendent of police Manoj Kumar Awasthi stated, “The marriage procession was en route to Abdulla Nagar from Madnapur area when the tragic accident occurred. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the mortuary for postmortem examination, while the injured are receiving medical care. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.”
