A tragic incident unfolded in Worcester, Mass., as a mother and daughter were discovered shot inside a bullet-riddled vehicle on Tuesday. The shocking discovery was made by officers responding to a report of gunshots in the area of Lisbon Street and Englewood Avenue.

Police Investigation

The Worcester Police Department revealed that the victims, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, were found inside a parked SUV with fatal gunshot wounds. They were rushed to a local hospital but were pronounced dead upon arrival.

The crime scene painted a grim picture, with the SUV bearing more than a dozen bullet holes in the driver’s side windows. Sergeant Sean Murtha of the Worcester Police Department described the incident as a “very violent act,” noting the significant number of shots fired into the vehicle.
