The Chilling Incident in Nashville

In a disturbing turn of events, a man in Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested for allegedly holding a woman captive in the basement of a home for three days. The incident took place on Tuesday, Feb. 27, when the woman went to check on her friend, Liddon Crutcher, at his residence.

The Terrifying Ordeal

Upon her arrival, the woman was reportedly forced into the basement by Crutcher, who then locked the door with a deadbolt, trapping her inside. Throughout her captivity, the victim was denied food and water, adding to the horror of the situation.

According to the victim’s account to the Metro Nashville Police Department, when she was permitted to leave the basement, Crutcher would block the front door to prevent her from escaping the premises.

A Desperate Attempt to Escape

Things took a violent turn on Friday when Crutcher allegedly threatened to kill the victim and attempted to strike her with a hammer. Fortunately, the blow landed on her foot instead, but the ordeal was far from over. Crutcher then commanded his dog to attack the woman, causing further harm.

It was only when the victim managed to wake other residents in the home that she was able to flee to a neighbor’s house and contact the authorities for help.
