A Drexel Hill man has been charged with attempted murder and other crimes in connection with a shooting outside a Wawa in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania. Joseph Krider, 47, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault following the incident.

Details of the Incident

The shooting took place at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Wawa located at 390 E. Chester Pike in Ridley. According to Ridley Township Police, a fight outside the store escalated, leading to the shooting. The victim, who was shot in the leg, was found being treated at a hospital after officers discovered blood at the scene.

Connection to Motorcycle Club

Investigations revealed that all parties involved in the incident were either current or former members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club, described by the ATF as an outlaw motorcycle club. Witnesses and video footage showed Krider arriving at the Wawa, confronting and fighting with another man in the parking lot. Three other men then joined in the altercation, assaulting Krider, who ultimately fired a shot, hitting one of the men in the leg.

Legal Proceedings

Joseph Krider is currently being held on $75,000 bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 18. Authorities have indicated that more individuals could face charges in connection with the shooting.
