In a tragic incident that took place in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a 24-year-old man, identified as Bhura Pandit alias Bittu Sharma, was shot dead during a violent altercation between two rival groups. The altercation occurred at a wedding venue in the Lodhi Vihar area of Aligarh.
According to authorities, the unfortunate incident stemmed from a previous dispute between two individuals, Sonu Yadav and Bhura Pandit. A few days ago, Bhura and his group reportedly assaulted Sonu, leading to simmering tensions between the two groups.
The situation escalated on Tuesday night when Sonu, accompanied by his associates, confronted Bhura and opened fire, resulting in Bhura sustaining a fatal gunshot wound. Aligarh City Circle Officer, Abhay Kumar Pandey, revealed that the incident is believed to be a result of long-standing animosity between the two groups.
Following the shooting, Bhura was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The authorities have taken swift action, arresting three individuals in connection with the crime and initiating a thorough investigation into the matter.
CO Pandey stated, “We are further looking into the case to ascertain all the details surrounding this tragic event.” Further updates on the case are awaited as law enforcement continues its efforts to bring justice to the victim and his family.
