Man Upset Over Ex-Girlfriend Ignoring Him

In a disturbing incident that took place in Las Vegas, two men are facing attempted murder charges after a drive-by shooting involving an Uber. The incident occurred at the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Dean Martin Drive, where several people traveling in an Uber were shot. One person sustained a gunshot wound to her leg during the attack.

Details of the Incident

According to documents, on January 18, around 10:30 p.m., Metro police responded to reports of a shooting at the aforementioned location. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered 12 cartridge casings on the road, along with 10 bullet impacts on the Uber vehicle. Witnesses revealed that the group had been gambling at the South Point casino when a man approached them claiming to know one of the individuals in the group.

The man, later identified as Nevin Parros, was an ex-boyfriend of one of the women in the group from her teenage years. Witnesses stated that Parros appeared visibly upset when the woman failed to acknowledge him, leading to a confrontation.

Surveillance Footage Reveals Suspects’ Actions

Surveillance video from the South Point casino showed the suspects, Aarayon Johnson and Nevin Parros, approaching the group and engaging in conversation before walking away. The footage also captured the men leaving the casino in a silver sedan, with Johnson behind the wheel. Parros was seen re-entering the casino and interacting with a man playing blackjack before leaving and getting back into the vehicle.

The video footage further revealed the silver sedan following the Uber away from the casino, ultimately leading to the drive-by shooting. Both Johnson and Parros were arrested by Metro police the following day at a business near Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

Legal Proceedings and Bail Denial

During police interviews, Parros claimed to have seen his ex-girlfriend at the South Point but left after being dropped off by Johnson at a gas station. Johnson, on the other hand, stated that he could not recall his whereabouts as he was under the influence at the time. Parros was denied bail due to a parole violation, while Johnson was released on a $150,000 bond.

As the case unfolds, the two men are facing serious charges related to the drive-by shooting, highlighting the dangers of unresolved emotions and conflicts. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of addressing personal grievances in a peaceful and non-violent manner.
