Tragic Deaths of Two Women in Wilson, North Carolina

In a devastating incident that shook the community of Wilson, North Carolina, two women tragically lost their lives at a home in the 1100 block of Gold Street. The incident, which was reported as an “unconscious/fainting call” to Wilson 911, unfolded on the evening of August 21, leaving residents in shock and disbelief.

Victims Identified

The two women involved in the heartbreaking incident were identified as Malica Harris, 27, of Rocky Mount, and her cousin, Tanisha Harris, 26, of Tarboro. The close-knit family ties between the cousins added to the emotional impact of their sudden and untimely deaths.
