Three Dead in Electrocution Tragedy at Mothe Thanda
Three individuals tragically lost their lives due to electrocution at Mothe Thanda in Parvatgiri mandal in the district on Monday. The victims have been identified as Kothapall Devender, Ravi, and Anil, all hailing from different villages in the area. Additionally, a four-year-old boy sustained severe burns and has been rushed to MGM hospital for urgent medical attention.
Celebration Turned Tragic
The residents of Mothe Thanda were preparing for the upcoming Goddess Durgamma festival, scheduled for the following day, when the unforeseen incident occurred. Families had gathered to celebrate the occasion and had invited their loved ones from various parts of the district to join in the festivities. Unfortunately, a live electric wire broke loose from its pole, resulting in the tragic deaths and injuries of multiple individuals.
Response and Investigation
Following the incident, the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the Wardhannapet community health centre for further examination. The local authorities, including the Parvathagiri police, swiftly responded to the scene and notified the NPDCL authorities to prevent any similar incidents in the future.
