Just four days prior to the incident, Amanpreet eloped with another man, leaving Harpal shattered and unable to cope with the betrayal. This led him to commit the unspeakable act of poisoning his daughter Jaspreet (6) and son Harpreet Singh (4) before fleeing the scene.
The chilling details of the crime came to light when Harpal’s employer, concerned about his absence from work, decided to check on him at his residence. Upon reaching Harpal’s house, the employer found it locked and, growing suspicious, entered the premises through a neighbouring staircase. What he discovered inside was a scene of unimaginable horror – the lifeless bodies of two innocent children lying motionless on a bed.
Without wasting a moment, the employer alerted the authorities, and the police soon arrived at the scene. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination as the search for the perpetrator began. Harpal Singh is currently on the run, and law enforcement agencies have launched a manhunt to apprehend him and bring him to justice for his heinous crime.
