Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Details of Fatal Stabbing in East Palo Alto

Authorities in East Palo Alto, California, are seeking the public’s help in solving the city’s first homicide of the year. The incident took place on February 8 near University Avenue and Bell Street, where two men were brutally stabbed. Sadly, one of the victims, Frank Finney, succumbed to his injuries at Stanford Hospital over the weekend.

Surveillance Video Released

East Palo Alto police have released surveillance footage in the hopes of identifying the perpetrator. The video captured a white SUV parked on the road, potentially containing witnesses to the fatal attack on Finney. The surviving victim described the suspect as having a mustache and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Plea for Information

With limited leads, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Mothers Against Murder – Advocating for Victims of Violence has even offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for Finney’s death. The community is shocked by this tragic turn of events, especially considering that East Palo Alto reported zero homicides last year.

Contact the Authorities

If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the East Palo Alto Police Department. Acting Detective Sergeant Klein can be reached at 650-833-9904. Together, we can bring justice to Frank Finney and his loved ones.
