Law enforcement authorities in Kansas City have confirmed the identity of a man found dead as 46-year-old William S. Booker, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
Location of the Incident
The tragic incident took place just after 6 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Front Street and N. Century Avenue in Kansas City.
Police were alerted to a report of a deceased individual at the scene, where they discovered the body of a man later identified as Booker. He was found unresponsive and appeared to have sustained injuries.
Responding officers immediately provided aid to Booker and called for EMS services. Unfortunately, he was declared deceased upon their arrival. A person of interest was apprehended near the scene and is currently being investigated further.
