The Tragic Incident in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia

Authorities in Philadelphia are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an execution-style killing near a historic property in Fairmount Park. The incident took place on Mount Pleasant Drive, close to Fountain Green Drive, late Thursday night.

According to reports, officers responded to a call just before 11 p.m. after a body was discovered on the road. Upon arrival, they found two victims, Thurston Cooper, 49, and Krystina Chambers, 38, lying in a gully alongside the road. Cooper had been shot in the head, while Chambers sustained gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Tragically, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Hunt for the Suspect

Authorities are now on the lookout for a man described as having a heavy/stocky build and was last seen wearing a black Dallas Cowboys hat. If you spot or have any information about this individual, please contact the authorities immediately by dialing 911. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by calling 215-686-8477.
