Tragic Accident Claims Life of Young Scooter Rider in Udyavar
On a fateful Sunday, March 3, a heart-wrenching accident unfolded near the Haleema Sabju auditorium at Udyavar, leaving a community in shock and grief. The incident took the life of Mufrin, an 18-year-old scooter rider, and left his mother, Hajir Banu, critically injured.
Mufrin, a resident of Ucchila Polya in Hejamady, was on his way to Udupi with his mother for medical treatment when tragedy struck. Their scooter collided with a parked pickup truck, resulting in a devastating impact that claimed Mufrin’s life and left his mother fighting for hers.
Devastating Impact and Tragic Outcome
The collision caused extensive damage to the scooter, leaving both Mufrin and his mother in need of urgent medical attention. Despite being rushed to Manipal Hospital, Mufrin could not be saved and succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.
