MARIANNA, Ark. — Two-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized After Being Shot in the Head
In a distressing incident that shook the quiet town of Marianna, Arkansas, a two-year-old boy named Legend Tillman is fighting for his life in a Memphis hospital after being shot in the head. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon while the toddler was innocently playing near the Marianna Public Housing Authority Complex.
Details of the Tragic Shooting
According to Legend’s uncle, the young child was caught in the crossfire during an altercation between two individuals in the 200 block of Sealand Street at around 4:30 pm. The Arkansas State Police have confirmed that the toddler is currently in critical condition as a result of the gunshot wound.
Suspects in Custody
Following the incident, a juvenile suspect was apprehended and booked into the Lee County Jail on Monday morning. However, authorities are still on the lookout for a 22-year-old individual who has been identified as a suspect by investigators.
