Two Men Identified in Salt Lake City Workplace Shooting

The Salt Lake City Police Department has released the names of two individuals who were tragically killed in a workplace shooting that took place on Sunday. The incident occurred at a business premises in the heart of Salt Lake City, sending shockwaves through the local community.

One of the victims has been identified as 61-year-old Hay Ly. According to SLCPD, Ly was a coworker of the suspected shooter, adding a layer of complexity to this devastating event. The second victim, 56-year-old Miller Bin, was found lifeless outside of the building. Authorities believe that Bin was the perpetrator of the shooting and subsequently took his own life.

Responding to a distress call at 2:33 p.m. on Sunday, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to find both individuals deceased. The discovery of a firearm outside of the building further underscored the severity of the situation.
