Ramban Tragedy: Four Dead and Three Injured in Road Accident
In a heartbreaking incident that occurred in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, four individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries after a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and overturned. The accident took place on Monday, March 4, as the Tata Sumo vehicle, with registration number JK19-1401, was traveling from Maligam to Ukhral.
Details of the Accident
According to reports, the tragic accident occurred at Abass Morh near Maligam due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle overturned, resulting in the immediate death of four passengers, including the driver. Additionally, three individuals were injured in the harrowing incident.
Swift Rescue Operation
Local civil and police authorities were promptly informed about the accident, leading to a swift rescue operation. Police, along with the help of locals, launched a rescue mission to recover the bodies and evacuate the injured individuals to the Primary Health Center Ukhral for urgent medical attention.

The deceased victims have been identified as Ayoub Ahmed, Abdul Waheed Bali, Anaitullah Runyal, and Driver Naveed Ahmed Chopan. The injured parties are Irfan Ahmed, Nasir Katoch, and Zahida Banoo.
