Tragic news struck the residents of Ramban district in the early hours of Monday morning when a devastating road accident claimed the lives of four individuals from a Pakistani family. The incident occurred on a road connecting Maligam to Ukhrall, a picturesque region known for its winding roads and stunning landscapes.
The Incident
According to reports received by local authorities, a sumo vehicle carrying the family skidded off the road near Maligam due to slippery conditions caused by the morning dew. The sudden skid resulted in the immediate death of four individuals, while three others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
Rescue Operation
Upon receiving the distress call, the police sprang into action and coordinated a rescue operation with the assistance of local residents. The bodies of the deceased were carefully recovered from the wreckage, and the injured individuals were promptly evacuated to the PHC Ukhral for urgent medical treatment.
Victims Identified
The victims of this heartbreaking tragedy have been identified as Abdul Wahid Bali, Anaytullah, Mohammad Ayoub Bali, and the driver, Sajjad Ahmad. All four individuals hailed from the tight-knit community of Pogal, where they were beloved members of their family and community.
Police Statement
A police official, while confirming the incident, stated that a case has been registered to initiate further investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The entire community of Ramban stands in mourning for the loss of these cherished individuals.
