Tragic Accident Claims Four Lives in Ramban District of Jammu and Kashmir
In a heartbreaking incident that shook the residents of Maligam in Pogal, Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir, a passenger vehicle met with a fatal accident on Monday. The tragedy unfolded in the serene surroundings of the Maligam area, located in the picturesque Ukhrall tehsil.
The ill-fated cab, carrying passengers from Maligam to Tehsil headquarters Ukhrall, tragically veered off the road near Chafkhani Maligam. The slippery road conditions due to recent weather fluctuations were believed to be the cause of the unfortunate event.
Local residents wasted no time in springing into action, initiating a rescue operation to help those affected by the accident. Tragically, four individuals lost their lives in the mishap, while three others sustained injuries. The injured were promptly rushed to PHC Ukhrall for medical treatment and care.
Victims Identified
The deceased individuals were identified as Abdul Wahid Bali, Aanayatullah, Mohammad Ayoub Bali, and the cab driver, Sajjad Ahmad. All four were residents of Pogal, adding to the deep sense of loss and sorrow felt by the local community.
