Accident – Death – Obituary News : By Hari Koirala, Urlabari, Mar 1: In a devastating accident that occurred on Friday morning along the East-West highway in the Belbari road section of Morang, three individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries. The tragic incident involved a collision between a passenger-carrying jeep with registration number Me 1 Ja 2856 and a tipper with registration number 001 Kha 9676.

**Fatal Collision in Belbari Road Section**

The collision took place as the jeep was heading towards the East from Belbari and was struck by the tipper traveling from the West to the East. The impact of the crash resulted in the tragic loss of three lives. The deceased have been identified as 52-year-old Yadukatna Bhattarai of Kamal Rural municipality-2, 44-year-old Deepa Khanal, and 36-year-old Krishna Gajurel. Additionally, two individuals, Hari Khanal and Gayatri Bhattarai, sustained critical injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro hospital.

**Eyewitness Account**

Chatra Kumar Maskey, the bus driver, revealed that the same tipper had previously collided with the bus he was operating, which had the registration number 001 Kha 2718 and was en route to Kathmandu. The repeated incidents involving the tipper raise concerns about road safety and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations.

**Investigation and Accountability**

Following the tragic accident, the police have apprehended the tipper driver, Chandra Bahadur BK of Sundarharaincha Municipality-7, for further investigation. The authorities are conducting a thorough inquiry to determine the circumstances that led to the collision and hold the responsible parties accountable for their actions.
