A 22-year-old woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of the murder of a 24-year-old man who was found at a residence on Chicago Road near Shepherd, Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder announced in a news release on Thursday.

Details of the Incident

The suspect, Kennedy Aigner of Shepherd, was arrested and booked into Yellowstone County jail on Thursday on suspicion of deliberate homicide, according to the jail roster.

Yellowstone County deputies responded to a call at the residence around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, where they discovered an unresponsive man, later identified as Quaid Fluckiger of Shepherd. Deputies attempted to revive Fluckiger with CPR, Narcan, and other procedures, not initially knowing the cause of his condition. He was subsequently airlifted to a hospital, where medical staff found that he had sustained a gunshot wound. Tragically, Fluckiger succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
