The incident unfolded when deputies were dispatched to a residence following a distress call from a woman reporting that her mother was being held captive by an armed individual. Upon arriving at the scene on Northeast 152nd Avenue, law enforcement officers encountered the suspect, identified as 53-year-old Jonathan Gale.
