Tragic Accident on National Highway-16 in Andhra Pradesh
VIJAYAWADA: A tragic incident occurred on National Highway-16 near Etukuru in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, where a car collided with a tractor carrying gravel, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to two others. The victims, who were returning home from a marriage function, met with the unfortunate accident that claimed the lives of two women and a child.
The deceased were identified as Garlapati Subbamma (50), Garlapati Shyam (6), and Garlapati Pavani (19) of Mangalagiri town in Guntur. The injured, Garlapati Nagalakshmi (38) and car driver Srikanth (31), were rushed to a nearby private hospital and later shifted to GGH for further treatment.
The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the collision. The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning as they come to terms with the loss of their loved ones.
