A disturbing incident unfolded in Phoenix this week as a 3-year-old girl was rushed to Phoenix Children’s Hospital after being exposed to dangerous drugs. The child’s mother, 36-year-old Allison Brown, is now in custody facing charges of child abuse.
Details of the Incident
The incident occurred at the American Inn near 52nd Drive and McDowell Road, where Brown, her boyfriend, and her five children were staying. Brown discovered a container of blue pills, later identified as fentanyl, in the hotel room. When the children began playing, the toddler unknowingly took a plastic bag containing drugs from her boyfriend’s belongings.

The child’s condition quickly deteriorated, with her struggling to breathe and displaying alarming symptoms. Brown attempted to help by clearing the toddler’s airway before instructing her other children to call 911.
Further Revelations
During police questioning, Brown confessed to smoking methamphetamine that morning, while her boyfriend had been using the drug throughout the day. Authorities discovered crystal meth and drug paraphernalia in the hotel room, leading to Brown’s arrest on multiple charges.
