The incident occurred at the American Inn near 52nd Drive and McDowell Road, where Brown, her boyfriend, and her five children were staying. Brown discovered a container of blue pills, later identified as fentanyl, in the hotel room. During police questioning, Brown confessed to smoking methamphetamine that morning, while her boyfriend had been using the drug throughout the day. Authorities discovered crystal meth and drug paraphernalia in the hotel room, leading to Brown’s arrest on multiple charges.
