The Scene of the Crime: Niazi Town, Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, a bustling city in Pakistan, was shaken by a tragic incident that took place in the heart of Niazi Town. This quiet neighbourhood, located within the jurisdiction of Rawalpindi’s Race Course Police Station, became the backdrop for a senseless act of violence that claimed the lives of two individuals.

A Shocking Daylight Attack

The incident, captured on CCTV footage that has since gone viral on social media, unfolded in broad daylight on one of the busiest streets in Niazi Town. The chilling video shows three suspects on motorcycles approaching two unsuspecting victims riding a motorcycle. Without warning, the suspects opened fire, fatally shooting Tanveer and Bilal before fleeing the scene.

The Aftermath

Following the shooting, senior police officials and a team from the Forensic Science Agency swiftly arrived at the scene to gather evidence and transport the victims’ bodies to the hospital for post-mortem examinations. Race Course SHO Inspector Raja Iftikhar revealed that the victims, originally from Abbottabad and Hazara, had been residing in Rawalpindi at the time of the incident.

A Case of Personal Enmity?

While an investigation is underway, initial findings suggest that the shooting may have stemmed from a personal feud. Inspector Iftikhar stated that a case will be registered once the victims’ relatives arrive to provide further information. As the community grapples with this senseless tragedy, the search for justice continues in Niazi Town, Rawalpindi.
