A devastating accident took place near Dhanas Lake in Mohali, where a 26-year-old biker lost his life after a collision with a speeding Ola electric scooter on Tuesday evening.
The tragic incident unfolded as Sandeep Singh, accompanied by his cousin Gajjan Singh, was on their way back home when a speeding electric scooter crashed into their bike near the serene Dhanas Lake. Despite being rushed to PGIMER, Sandeep was declared dead on arrival. The reckless scooter rider, who also sustained injuries, managed to flee the scene, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Gajjan Singh, though, was able to note down the scooter’s registration number.
The unidentified perpetrator has been charged under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code for their callous actions.
