An elderly man and woman, identified as Ryseard Stebnicki and Zofia Chruszcz, tragically lost their lives after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street.

The incident occurred at around 8:50 a.m. in the 6100 block of South Archer Avenue. The victims, aged 74 and 71, were in the crosswalk when they were hit by a Ford F150 driven by a 43-year-old man. Despite being rushed to nearby hospitals, both pedestrians succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
