Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Yesterday, a mentally disturbed Thai man by the name of Preecha caused chaos within the sacred walls of Nimman Ratbumrung Temple in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri. The incident sent shockwaves through the local community.

Authorities Respond to the Disturbance

As news of the disturbance spread, Ban Bueng Police rushed to the temple grounds to assess the situation. Concerns about potential danger led to a call for additional reinforcements, with officers armed and prepared for a tense confrontation.

Tragic Turn of Events

Negotiations with Preecha proved unsuccessful, and the situation escalated when authorities breached the chapel doors. Tragically, they found Preecha lying dead on the floor, with a Buddha image piercing his chest. Police speculated that Preecha had fallen from the main Buddha structure, resulting in a fatal impalement.

Revelations and Investigations

Investigations revealed a disturbing sequence of events leading up to the tragedy. Earlier in the day, Preecha had attacked a monk with a fluorescent light tube before barricading himself inside the chapel. Phra Base, the monk, disclosed that Preecha had consumed drugs the day before, shedding light on his erratic behaviour.

Witnesses to the Tragedy

Phra Khru Anucha Wangsra Thammo, the temple’s abbot, recounted hearing ominous noises coming from the chapel just before the tragedy unfolded. The hallowed chamber was left in chaos, with worship materials scattered and broken glass strewn about.

The shocking incident at Nimman Ratbumrung Temple serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support within our communities. May Preecha rest in peace, and may his story serve as a cautionary tale for others.
