Accident – Death – Obituary News : Gartner was driving a Ford F-150 north on 50 Street near 22 Avenue SW when she saw the police lights and tried to avoid the spike belt. Unfortunately, she hit it and lost control of her vehicle, causing her to collide with another vehicle before coming to a stop.

The other two motorists who hit the spike belt were not injured, but Gartner was pronounced dead at the scene.
