In a tragic event that shook the community of Far East El Paso, Captain Malcolm Xavier Perry lost his life in October 2020. The fatal incident occurred at the intersection of N. Zaragoza Rd. and John Hayes St., where Perry’s car was violently rammed, causing it to flip and catch fire.

El Paso Police have alleged that Richard Mustapha Sennessie deliberately crashed his Jeep into Perry’s Audi, leading to the tragic outcome. Sennessie now faces murder charges, with his trial scheduled for April 8.
The Acquittal of Clevy Muchette Nelson-Royster
One of the suspects involved in the murder of Captain Perry, Clevy Muchette Nelson-Royster, was recently acquitted of all charges by an El Paso Jury. Nelson-Royster was the passenger in the Jeep Cherokee driven by Sennessie at the time of the fatal crash. Police affidavits also revealed that she was romantically involved with Perry.
