WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has reported that a tragic incident occurred on January 20 in Northwest D.C., resulting in the death of a man who was found shot outside a car.

According to police reports, the incident took place around 4 p.m. on the 1200 block of Emerson St. in Northwest D.C. The area is known for its residential neighbourhoods and bustling streets, making the occurrence even more shocking to the local community.
The Victim
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Andre Wilson from Northeast, D.C., was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, despite the best efforts of medical staff, Wilson tragically succumbed to his injuries on February 28.
