Accident – Death – Obituary News :
An 18-year-old truck helper tragically lost his life in a road accident on the Kushtia-Khulna highway earlier today. The incident took place near Battail junction in Kushtia Sadar Upazila, as reported by Sub-Inspector (SI) Solaiman of Chourhas Highway Police Outpost.
Details of the Accident
The young victim, identified as Shamim and hailing from Rajabari area of Muktagacha Upazila in Mymensingh, was the son of Mustafa. According to eyewitnesses, a vegetable-laden truck en route to Jhenaidah collided with another stationary truck near a filling station. Shamim, who was working as a helper in the moving truck, tragically lost his life on the spot.
Immediate Response
Upon receiving the report, the police rushed to the scene and recovered Shamim’s body. The deceased was then sent to the Kushtia 250 Bed General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination. The authorities have also taken the necessary steps to seize the truck involved in the accident, and a case will be filed shortly.
