Investigations underway after body of hospital worker found hanging in Ejura

The police in Ejura, Ashanti region, are currently conducting investigations into the tragic death of a 56-year-old worker at the Ejura government hospital. The body of the deceased, identified as Sarfo Boakye, was discovered hanging from a mango tree on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Sarfo Boakye, a father of three and a member of a royal family in Ejura, was found by residents of the area who were hunting for mangoes in the bush. They immediately reported the incident to the local authorities, including the Assembly member for the Ahenboboano electoral area, Samuel Kojo Kwa-Sam.

Discovery of the Body

Upon receiving the report, Samuel Kojo Kwa-Sam, along with community leaders and the police, rushed to the scene where the body was found. The decomposing body of Sarfo Boakye was later buried on the same day, as the investigation into his death began.
