Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a tragic incident that has shocked the residents of Baran city, the body of a 40-year-old man was discovered in a dried-up pond on Tuesday morning. The victim, identified as Om Prakash Bairwa, had his throat slit and leg fractured, indicating a brutal murder. The incident took place in an area under the jurisdiction of Baran city police, who have launched a murder investigation against unidentified perpetrators.
Om Prakash Bairwa, a daily wage labourer from Atru police station area in Baran district, was reported missing by his family after he failed to return home on Monday evening. His body was found the following morning, prompting the police to conduct a postmortem and hand over the remains to his grieving loved ones.
According to Baran city police SHO Ram Vilash Meena, the motive behind the heinous crime is still unclear. Om Prakash, known to have a habit of consuming alcohol, leaves behind a wife, a 17-year-old daughter, and a 9-year-old son. The community is in shock over the loss of a hardworking man who was simply trying to provide for his family.
