Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a shocking incident in Bhubaneswar, a man abandoned his wife’s body in front of a police outpost at Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital (BBMCH) in Balangir. The deceased, identified as Muni Deep, had been admitted to BBMCH on February 18 and was later transferred to VIMSAR, Burla on February 25. Tragically, she passed away on Monday night, just a day after her admission.

The husband of the deceased, Krishna Deep, arrived at BBMCH from Burla in a vehicle with his wife’s body. He then asked the driver to park the vehicle in front of the police outpost and disappeared. The driver, who was owed Rs 8,000 by Krishna, tried to contact him but his phone was switched off. Assistant sub-inspector of police G Raxa stated, “The driver informed us after which we also tried to call Krishna but he could not be contacted.”

Police have launched a manhunt for Krishna, who is from Bangomunda, 80 km from Balangir. They have kept the body in the freezer and will conduct a postmortem on Wednesday. Raxa added, “It seems Krishna wanted to avoid paying the vehicle fare. We have launched a manhunt. No case has been registered against him except a case of unnatural death.”

This incident has shocked the local community and raised questions about the behavior of Krishna Deep. The police are working diligently to locate him and bring him to justice for abandoning his wife’s body in such a callous manner.
